Dairy Producers of New Mexico
President's Letter
Luke Woelber
December, 2011

As 2011 comes to a close, the extremes of our industry donít seem to be slowing down. We have seen our feed price double and in some cases triple. Milk prices over the last couple of years have busted through the ceiling, and then fallen below the basement. Mother Nature has shown us Antarctic cold, extreme heat, drought and most recently hurricane force winds to finish the year off right. I hope I can speak for most people in the industry, we all like things a little interesting and challenging but I think we could all use a break from the extremes.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members for their continued support. If there is anything we can do for you, please feel free to contact the office. We have a tremendous staff that understands our concerns and works diligently on our behalf.

Letís hope that 2012 is a boring, uneventful, stable year.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your families.
